The Man Behind the Curtain
I really don’t like talking about myself – But an Art Director friend told me to write a bio – So here it is:
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 1993. Every dollar I’ve ever made has been with my camera. Traveled the country following major brands as an in-house photographer. I’ve gone from Coldwater Creek in Idaho to Yankee Candle in Massachusetts. Not to mention a bunch of map dots in between.
My photography spans many different genres and decades –Synopsis: thousands of commercial catalogs, CRM mailers, PDP's for eCom, and a few thousand corporate images.... And all the free stuff my wife makes me do.
Currently I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, following my dreams of chasing sail boats, catching sunsets and shucking oysters.
Additional bullet points about me:
- I can ski backwards and take pictures at the same time.
- I like change and have lots of big ideas
- I love working on a team, but always take on individual challenges
- I’m a right brained creative and a left brained analyzer
- I eat raw oysters every month of the year, not just the ones with an “R”
